CalorieKit offers convenient home screen widgets on iOS, allowing you to quickly track your calorie and macronutrient intake without opening the app. Here’s how you can add these widgets to your home screen:
Adding the CalorieKit Widget
Enter Jiggle Mode:
On your iOS device, press and hold an empty area on your home screen until the app icons start to jiggle.
Access the Widget Menu:
Tap the + button in the top-left corner of the screen to open the widget menu.
Search for CalorieKit:
In the widget menu, scroll down and find CalorieKit or type "CalorieKit" in the search bar.
Select the CalorieKit Widget:
Tap on the CalorieKit widget. You will see a preview of the widget, showing your remaining calories and a breakdown of your macronutrients.
Add the Widget:
Tap the Add Widget button at the bottom of the screen.
The widget will be added to your home screen in the current layout.
Place the Widget:
Move the widget to your desired location on the home screen.
Once you’re satisfied with its placement, tap Done in the top-right corner to exit jiggle mode.
Using the CalorieKit Widget
The widget displays your remaining calorie count for the day along with the amounts of protein, carbs, and fat left to consume.
Tap on the widget to open the CalorieKit app for a more detailed view and to log your food intake.
